Dennis, I just use a larger tractor for the trailers even though the X530
should move them ok if not loaded. I've got a Farmall Cub, a Power King,
and a Ford 1520 to move them with, with the Ford being used if much
weight is involved.
It looks like you have quite a collection of machines there.

Alan,
Moving trailers can be done with these smaller garden tractors, if they are
not fully loaded or very heavy. I have JD LA150 with 54" deck, and have a 2"
ball hitch on it I use for moving empty trailers. I also have JD 045 which
is a slightly smaller and older version of the LA150. It also has a 2" ball
hitch I regularly use to move trailers - 12 ft flatbed and 12 ft cargo
trailers. Would probably work for trailers up to 16 ft. I built a bracket on
the rear that holds the ball at the proper height, not just bolting on to
the existing hole at the bottom.
I also have JD 318, Case 444, JD 111, JD 116, JD 180 1950 Jacobson, etc.
Moving my 20 foot 10K rated trailer or my gooseneck is beyond what I have
tried with these mowers.
I use my LA150 to mow 4.5 acres in Oklahoma, and I use the 045 to mow 1 plus
acres near my shop, and about 3 - 4 acres at church.
Thanks
Dennis
