Thanks Steve, I've gotten pretty accustomed to mine and most of the
time it doesn't bother me and I'm often not aware of it unless I think
about it but I do wish it would go away.

Sounds like we hear the same choir Charlie.
I did find one thing that worked to quiet it some. I made a cheap
oscillator out of a 555 timer and can adjust the frequency. If I tweak
it just right it reaches a zero beat with the ringing in my head an the
noises go away for 1/2 hour or so.
