No worries about that Joe, I'm not sure why they rezoned it commercial,
they are selling it as residential, only 10 acres, seems odd. I am
actually on the other side of the state in Hartland. MI. Still haven't
heard from the realtor, big surprise there, no money in it for him. I'll
continue to dig.

Thanks,
Mike

If so I have many former clients that own commercial property/development land down there and I might be able to make some calls for you. Feel free to e-mail me off list if you want to share location/ownership info with me (don't worry, the last thing I need is to steal away someone's rusty iron find). Jahaze at aol.com

>> Yes, that does complicate things, Mike. Perhaps sending pictures to the ATCA now would be a good idea. I would guess (as others have said) it should be possible to contact someone at the trust, or the reality company. If that does not work, I think I would "rescue" the old iron and leave a note (and a picture or two) laminated and nailed to a nearby tree saying that I had "rescued" the frame for possible restoration by someone in the future. I would sign the note and leave my name, phone # and address. I realize that may open me up to lots of problems in the future. I, also, might just consider taking it and then contacting ATCA.

If the answer is "Yes" I would haul it home and then contact the folks at the Antique Truck Club of America--See: http://www.antiquetruckclubofamerica.org/ and send them pictures and ask if they know anyone who would be interested in it. I'll bet that somewhere there is someone who would very much like to have what is there to complete a restoration. I think it's a shame to just let it sit where it is and continue to decompose!
