Well it's very certainly 220 V. Actually the capacitor might only
be pulling from one leg and might just be 110 V but it's got
a lot of kick coming out. It would have smarted!

Glad you're OK Charlie, I don't mind working with 110v, but when working
with 220v, I'm VERY careful.
