I had mixed emotions on this one.

HSUSA on the one side and the devil Monsanto on the other.

That's my state :-)

This was a response to a ballot initiative a few years ago to limit "puppy mills" and it passed.  The ag people see this is a threat, just change dogs to any other species and rerun the issue, way wouldn't what is cruel to a dog be cruel to a pig.

Area farmers were of mixed opinion about this amendment, we didn't see the need, but when we saw who was funding the opposition, such as HSUSA, we all picked sides pretty quick.  Anything they are against, we are for

There may be a larger threat with the EPA's new waterways definition, and any state constitution won't stop it.
