There has been a real issue with lithium ion batteries in laptop
computers - yes fires and such. Are these similarly affected? I have no
clue but the potential for problems with some of the lithium ion
batteries is true.

I did and got this https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=18650%20battery%20review That page told me about the difference between "brands" of 18650 batteries, but not much about the danger(s) of charging them. I think, perhaps, this "danger" may be about like that of Black Helicopters. If someone can direct be to where I can find out about the 18650 battery causing a home fire, or killing someone I would sure like to know about it.

E.D.'s enthusiasm for cheapazz landfill fodder is one thing, but once you dive into poor quality lithium-ion batteries you could burn your house down or even kill someone. Crossed a line, E.D.
