A halfway decent 18650 costs about eight bucks.  To get a whole light and charger along with it says it's a POS 18650 and they will do serious damage when they self-destruct.  E.D.'s enthusiasm for cheapazz landfill fodder is one thing, but once you dive into poor quality lithium-ion batteries you could burn your house down or even kill someone.  Crossed a line,  E.D.
