OK, Here is the EXACT flashlight I was talking about. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Multifunction-SWAT-Style-Flashlight-Black-with-Case-NEW-/351224520053?pt=US_Flashlights&hash=item51c69cdd75 Read the description of the ones I have and then look at the pictures of other Ultrafifr/CREE way at the bottom of the page. Only two of those I have given to friends "failed". One was dropped overboard in about 70 feet of water and never seen again (although it could be seen shining brightly for about the first 10/12 feet while heading to the bottom) and the other was run over by a car's tires after too many beers. The battery holds a charge for months w/out any noticable dimming. I have never tried the 3 AAA batteries in any of them. The claim is that you can get about 3 hours out of a full charge. I have seen/played with this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-Lumen-LED-Flashlight-Ultrafire-CREE-XML-T6-Torch-Rechargeable-Battery-Brigh/111513645854?_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109&_trkparms=aid%3D555012%26algo%3DPW.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27538%26meid%3Df661dca927c74824a0f925f95d6cb6aa%26pid%3D100010%26prg%3D11353%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D24%26sd%3D351224520053 and it seemed to work fine, but was a bit big for how/when/were I use a flashlight.

I guess you could pay a lot more if you wanted to, but its kinda like the difference between an Ed Brown 1911 and a standard Colt 1911. You get more respect at the range with a Brown, but if you are shot with either the end result is the same!
