So I guess this means you are NOT going to keep all this cold air where it
belongs?
Time to drag out the coveralls I guess. Wouldn't hurt to crank up the
generator either. The forecast has temps around freezing during the day, and
dipping into the 20's at night. At the same time it has "light rain" in the
forecast. If the temps drop a little lower that may well turn into freezing
rain. Considering how many leaves are still on the trees, it could get ugly.
Better make sure the chainsaws are ready to go as well.

Mid 30s? Ha! Get back to me when you are close to zero as we have been
the past few days. I'd be smiling if I saw 30 degrees again but I don't
think it is going to happen. I did an oil change on the 75 year old
Ford car yesterday and that old flathead fired right up with no problem.
I had to fire up the space heater before I finished the job though as
the shed was down to 20 degrees or so and I am becoming a bit over
sensitive to the cold I guess. No heater in the Ford either.
I was just commenting today that I was glad I finished hauling hay bales
a couple of weeks ago when it was still relatively warm. That ten mile
round trip on the open Massey would be a killer at today's "high" of 12
degrees. Get used to it folks. Looks like winter has returned, all too
soon.
