More than one crack originating from the same point would indicate to me that it was hit.

   Have any one heard of a flat screen tv cracking across the screen and
   not being hit. Our tv quit repair guy picked it up then said it was
   cracked from about top one side to other two cracks running from same
   point??????????????
   I think I will get a more honest answer from here than other shops.
