[Farmall] Mike Sloane

I'm very sorry to see this news, and know that feeling is shared by a great
many others.   I never met Mike in person either, but I had to think about
that for a moment to make sure...it was kind of hard to tell.   Lots of
years of reading his good insights, his posts of "Some of the more
interesting ads" from the rural paper, his stories about assorted tractors,
his affection (which I shared) for big old row-crop Farmalls, he sure seemed
like an old friend.   Rest easy, Mike.

Those of us that have been on this list since the beginning have gotten to
know each other pretty well. Some in person and some just over the web. I
never met Mike in person but considered him a friend. 
My thoughts are with him.
