Dean,
I'm still short of time but I suspect I have an original Operators Manual
for the blade if you need one!

Thanks, everyone--I'm very fortunate to have met these folks and been able
to purchase their equipment.

Herb, you'd asked about what all I bought. In addition to the 620 (and its
original operator's manual and a heat houser), I bought the fellow's John
Deere #65 rear blade, Woods M160 3-point rotary cutter, a 3-point sprayer
from Tractor Supply that he used for spraying weeds along fence rows, and a
Winco pto-driven generator. The blade and brush hog will both likely see
some use this coming weekend. Not sure about the other things but picking
them up while I was at it seemed like the thing to do.

The 620 has JD's system of telescoping 3-point arms, which makes it pretty
easy to hook up without spotting the tractor exactly perfectly. Which, let
me tell you, will take me some time to learn to do. The combination of the
hand clutch and the separate left and right brakes (left foot on left brake
pedal, right foot on right brake pedal) make that kind of fine-tuned backing
up a very different proposition than what I'm used to. First time I went
to stop and just stepped on the right brake it of course spun the tractor
around a little and left me way out of position to hook up. :)

I made my first road trip with it this evening, moving the tractor and rear
blade to my place, and it runs like a top. Sounds good, feels good, smells
good, looks good. I'd intended to make another trip tonight for the sprayer
or the rotary cutter but I got wrapped up talking with the sellers again.
Nice folks and as you say, lots of information. So I'll go back tomorrow
if it's not raining. Then I'll switch to the Super M to go get the Winco
generator since it's trailer-mounted and the SM's road gear is about twice
as fast as the 620 (and since I don't want the old girl to feel left out.
:)

Paul, yep, no paint even on the horizon for this tractor. I may see if I
can carefully remove the "620" decal from the bottom of the nose since it
just doesn't look right to me there, but on the other hand if it takes me a
while to get around to it I may grow to like it. :)
