Dean,
Your are claiming that green tractor WITH ELECTRIC STARTER as a true John
Deere? You will be missing the experiences of hand starting an old John
Deere? <grins>
Reminds me of an old story where a middle aged politician accused a young
politician of "never having worked a day in his life", to which some older
man told the young politician "you ain't missed a thing".
Enjoy that electric starter.
I worked many days for a neighbor with JD A and JD B; both good tractors
with very good wheel brakes. They were mid 1940's or newer; must have had
electric starters because I do not remember hand starting them.
