Negatory Charlie, I purchased my 1st win 8 this spring, had XT, 7 & have a Vista still working- 8 is very difficult to work with from my experience! Click an app & go to your desired screen, jump thru more hoops & get what you want, then no little x to leave the screen you are on, go to the top & drag down to remove the program or go back & open another app, then when you finally close you find a lot of open apps. I find it is not an easy program & I have 25 years on work & personal computers
