[AT] Corn report

It often rains a lot over the concrete and asphalt jungle south of me while
we don't get a drop. I honestly think it has something to do with all the
heat helping to trigger afternoon thunderstorms. I'll leave work during or
right after a big thunderstorm and get home to find not even a drop fell.
Must have happened 5-6 times this year. Winter time the rains are much more
consistent while I am literally on the edge of the snow line.

Same state, different report. I live in the middle of Michigans thumb.
While the rains have been sort of enough, we have always been a little
short. So far the crops are looking good but are starting to wilt. If we
don't get rain in the next few days we'll be in big trouble. The bad
part is, for whatever reason, we are in a 6 mile streak that doesn't get
the rain. For about 8 years now it will get dark in the sky, thunder and
lightning, and then go around. Just last week it did this, to the east,
south and west they got 2 inches and we got a few sprinkles. A rain like
that would have almost got us through the year but it didn't happen. All
we can do at this point is hope.
