Good luck with your search Dean. Here is a web site that I use to "window
shop" at times.
I've never dealt with them other than to browse their site but they cover
the whole country
and seem to find a lot of acreage and farmstead properties.

I haven't had much to say in quite a while, but am hoping that'll change in
the near future. Some of you may remember that I've lived in the suburbs
for decades but have been saying since about 1996 that "I hope to move back
to a little farm one of these years." Looks like 2014 might actually be
that year.

There're some beautiful old farmhouses and barns still out there. Finding a
place with the right combination of buildings, land, location, price, etc,
isn't proving to be easy or fast but at least I'm seriously looking rather
than just thinking about someday looking.

Of course, finding a place will put a serious hurt on my tractor per acre
ratio. Right now I'm at about 2.5, since I have maybe a 0.4 acre lot. I'll
have to really work at it to keep that rate up.
