Will,
You probably are remembering the Beilers Auction. Yes, it has been a long
time. Last time I was there (1990's), Cecil Monson was having a ball;
bought a truckload of equipment, etc. Weather was decent; I was told that
some years it was mud, some years snow. A couple months before then I
bought a G with endloader approx twenty miles from Beilers, sold the G at
Beilers auction, and still have the endloader. It was windy, my G was five
tractors downwind of a Rumely. The Rumely was started several times during
the day, my G was well speckled with oil before the auction ended. Nearby
was a huge collection (20'x40'x100') of old farm implements, etc. that did
not sell or were never picked up. Couple years later Beilers closed.

Auctions are a huge part of tractor collecting.
What was that large auction topic that was bombarding the list a month or
two ago? I can't remember anyone getting slapped down over that topic?
Perhaps Raquel should have said something like "Has anyone seen the three
wheeled G at WV auction?"
Or "Anyone going to the Lapp Auction in Lancaster this Sunday?"
Come to think of it, what is the large tractor auction in Lancaster? It's
usually in February? My father and I would always go. Bergeys? Was that it?
It's been so long since I've been to an auction... I've been paying tuition
now for 8 years with two more years to go... I can't wait for my youngest to
graduate so I can be a consumer again...
Maybe new posters should be given a little more slack?
Regards,
Will

You guys sure are a grumpy bunch. It's those kind of mean spirited posts
that will kill this list once and for all. At this point and time, any post
is better than none at all. At least she wasn't pushing male enhancement
pills, I've got enough of those to last several lifetimes!
Enjoy, Joe
