Had 2 occasion where I had a problem within the first 6 mos. Just went to Wal-Mart and Straight talk, they fixed it right now.

You might want to find out from other users about the Straight-Talk service. 
The phones are prices are great.  Coverage area should be fine for most users. The problem, from what I could see, arises when you might have a problem and need some help from their customer service. Like many, it's off-shore and and slow.
