I have used Uship also.   last summer I sent a tractor East to Indiana.  
It was an independent hot shot tucker who stayed on the road all the 
time.  As Spencer said, just be patient, there are a lot of freight 
companies who will try to pressure you on small items at the first 
display of your need. Just wait.
