My shop building is a 48X30 pole barn with a wood stove for heat. I don't even bother to try working on windy winter days because the stove can't warm up the space. I'm working on sealing up the building better to keep the wind out. The main problem is the sliding door on the north side of the building. Around here, the wind comes from the N-NW in the winter directly against the door. I'm looking for a way to seal the top of the door without interfering with it operation. I'm thinking that the trimused around overhead doors could work good for this. It is made from ridged vinyl about 2" wide with a 3/4" flexible seal that touches the door. What works for you?
