Mike the containers are clear plastic, 265 gallon carboy totes.
There wasn't much liquid in them.  Very little odor.  I didn't taste them 
LOL.
I don't think they had dangerous stuff in them but those containers are used
for everything from Ag chemicals to Pepsi syrup so it's hard to tell.  I 
washed them
properly.  Should be ok.
