I have never been a Ford guy but this thing has the convenient foot print of a red belly but twice the power, live hydraulics, and a two stage clutch. The vertical 5 speed shift is a little different but otherwise any red belly owner would be hard pressed to see any difference from the seat(and the fact it has the Rest-O-Ride seat)

I have a wide front 941 diesel that I have owned since about 1980 and it
has always been my favorite tractor. I am always looking for an excuse
to use it as opposed to some other piece of equipment. I especially
like that diesel engine because it is so smooth and quiet and yes the
serial number is etched away on mine too but the previous owner had
painted the serial number on the underside of the hood.
