John, the Manual for the 35 says -

...with the rear jacked up "Turn one of the wheels and observe the
direction of rotation of the other wheel.  If the wheels turn in the same
direction, there is insufficient clearance between the ends of the axle
shafts."  The manual goes on to say that the correct axle End Play is not
less that 0.002" nor greater than 0.008"

I don't know if the 35 and 135 are the same but at least we know from what
your manual says for the 8N and mine says for the 35 that the 8N and 35
appear to be the same in this regard.  And, if I had to guess, I would
think the 135 is the same as the 35 and conclude that all three models are
the same.  But, it would be nice if someone had a 135 manual and could
remove the guess work -
