Charlie, that is so familiar. I used the same technique on old Roosty. Of 
course it helped to be wearing leather gloves and coveralls. He had some 
vicious big spurs on his legs that could tear you apart if you weren't 
wearing heavy clothing. I've got a picture somewhere of me holding him up 
that way. His favorite technique was to take a run at his unsuspecting 
victim from behind and fly up with his spurs out and wings beating. He'd use 
his beak too. It was just fun for me but he was serious and would have been 
a real threat to some people who weren't prepared for such an attack. He 
would actually fly at dad riding the lawn tractor as he passed by.
