That should work fine.  You don't have a rust causing 
environment like we do here.  With no chloride in the tires
you'll be in good shape.  Of course you knew that without me
telling you.  grins.

Charlie, I plan to spray on some JD yellow. Just checked my "inventory" 
and have 3 cans of green and no yellow so I guess a trip to town is in 
order. I think the wheel will be ok structurally but those rusted areas 
might start to rust under the paint in a year or two.
Forgot to mention that I might have some similar size tires on a pair of 
95 JD combines although they will be a different (closed centre) rim.
