This conversation sorta reminds me what the herbicide man used to say was needed to get sunflowers out of the soybeans.  When asked if he knew anything that would work, he replied, "Sure, start out with a hoe, then if that doesn't work use a corn knife, and if that fails use an ax, and then if all else fails, break out the chain saw."
