That did it Charlie thanks! The weight of the tractor must have been
holding the shifter in place. I'll still need to take the top off of the
transmission because the range selector goes past where it needs to go
for low range, I can feel it go too far, and then I have nothing, pull
it back just a little and I can feel it lock in to it's spot.
