[AT] OT -Massey 255

Hi guys, I have a problem with my Massey Ferguson 255. The range 
selector shifter is stuck in low, it actually feels like it went past 
low, (farther than it normally travels), and I can't get it to go back. 
This also means the tractor won't start because it has a safety 
mechanism that requires all shifters to be in the neutral position. I 
was hoping if I could get it started I could get the shifter to free up, 
and was thinking of jumping the starter solenoid. It is currently in a 
little shed with no light and very tight quarters. If I do need to tear 
into it, I would love to get it into my shop area. any thoughts or 
advice would be greatly appreciated.
