They are old but not that old. The 23 degree tread bar did not appear 
here til I think the early seventies, maybe late sixties. The original 
Goodyears gave out for reasons I can't recall now. This one in the 
picture was a well used replacement we found locally. Not easy to find 
18.4x34 tires .
