I'll join the choir here and say buy a new tank and install it. Saving 
$75-100 by buying a used one isn't worth the potential trouble you may 
cause. I've been in similar situations where by accident or bad luck I 
became a responsible party for damages and I decided it was better to throw 
money at the situation and fix it correctly than deal with a bunch of drama.
