[AT] When is the Sky Valley tractor show?

Thanks Herb I will be going to this one also.  Next weekend I will be going
to Brooks on Saturday and the following week to Lynden.  The one I was
inquiring about which I got an answer is Sky Valley in Monroe, Wa  August
10-12.  I have been to that one a couple of times before it is a nice one
also.

Bruce, The Puget Sound Antique Tractor & Machinery Association show is July 
31- Aug.3 at Berthusen Park, 8837 Berthusen Rd., west of Lynden, WA.   The 
show is featuring GOTO (Gathering of the Orange;  Allis Chalmers).   Darryl 
Krause is organizer.  A 42 mile tractor drive along the Pacific coast is 
planned for July 30; normally insurance is required to participate?  Tractor

pulls every night.  A 500 horsepower Allis-Chalmers Corliss steam engine is 
on the grounds, it was used to run a drawbridge in the city of Seattle.  The

AC banquet (a standard feature at GOTO shows) is Saturday evening; these are

interesting and educational if you are an AC enthusiast, $25/person.  Daily 
show hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.   Admission is $7 for adults, $3 for 
children ages 8 -12., $5 for seniors age 60 & older, season passes are 
available.     Article in Old Allis News does not state anything about costs

Darryl is a congenial, hard working guy and has several D-21 AC tractors.  I

met him several years ago at Tulare, CA GOTO.  His D-21 blew down that 
pulling track. From Darryls posts on allischalmers.com, he (and his 
coworkers) have spent many hours in an effort to insure this show is a huge 
success.
