[AT] Small Backhoes?

What? For a 3X3X3 hole, rent a gas-powered post hole auger from Home Depot, and drill the stupid thing. You can sink several holes fairly close together, then break down the webs and crumb-out the remainder.

Better luck than I am having here. I need a 3'X3'X3' hole dug for a
radio tower base. There is a guy about 2 miles from me with a mini
excavator. I called him several times and he never called back. I
caught him at home one day and we made arrangements for him to come by
in a couple of days. He never showed and never called. He later told
someone he came by four times and no one was home but we are almost
always home but are often in the shop and craft room.

I have found a three point back hoe that I can borrow and possibly
another tractor with a backhoe. This will happen next spring. We are
also looking to build a house and I will do the foundation excavation
myself. Depending on people in the Ozarks can be difficult.
