Jerry, your Ford F-150 is probably a Flex Fuel model.  I'm pretty sure Ford 
made flex fuel F-150's in 06.

GM made flex fuel and non flex fuel models in 06.  My '06 GMC is NOT flex 
fuel and the owners manual
clearly says not to run e-85 in it.

Well, my '06 F 150 has been using E85 sence day one, no problems, I see very
little differance in mileage, it all in how you drive, heavy foot, less
mileage
