I painted bed liner in the bottom of a grain tank on a combine. I had to put 
in a couple patches and I did that to cover any small holes and limit 
further wear.  If you are patching up and old unit, I can't see why it 
wouldn't work, I'll certainly keep it in mind.

I wonder could you spray truck bed liner on the inside of the fertilizer
hoppers to keep them from rusting?
