In the years I was driving almost everything I ever drove was either a 10 
speed or a 13 speed Roadranger.
Of course they the same transmission.  The 13 speed just has the OD box 
bolted on the back end.
I have driven some 9 speed Roadrangers.  I don't know if I've ever run a 
Spicer or not.   I like the RoadRangers.
It's been 20 years or more but I feel confident I could shift one flawlessly 
right now.

I hate to appear ignorant, but I just found that out.  I have 3
Roadranger transmissions and I use Mystic JT-7 85/140 They are a little
difficult to shift when cold, but I just thought that was a
roadranger.   I grew up with a Spicer 12 speed.  Frankly, I still prefer
them over the 13 spd Roadranger.
