I had one of my D-14's for 3 or 4 years before it was "discovered" and she 
wouldn't have
known then except she recognized a different seat on it when I was using it. 
I talked to
a man in South Carolina once who was a breeder and trader of expensive (4 
figure +) bird dogs.
Someone asked him what his wife thought about all those expensive dogs.  He 
said "me and
my wife have a deal.  I don't ask her what shoes and dresses cost and she 
don't ask me what dogs cost".
