Charlie, used to have a guinea fowl but it died of old age. Bantam 
chickens would forage in the potato patch too but coyotes were a 
problem. The chickens and guinea did fine here in their barn all winter.
Now I have to look up what BT is. I think what I used on the tater bugs  
was rotenone.
