Mattias, I like the humor a lot! The difference of course is that we are
semi-arid warm variant not COLD variant. I agree completely with you. Also,
if I were from there I suspect I would like where I was. My opinion is that
most places are good places to live if there are not too many people (highly
variable depending on where and who lives there), not too much violence and
if people decide that it is a good place to live. Lack of pride in a place
makes it even more unliveable than too much pride usually, but in the happy
medium of proud to be in a place and wanting to make sure it is a good place
to be.
     No I do not have Swedish ancestors, but I have certainly known LOTS of
people who do and I think Scandinavia has lots of fine people and some not
so fine (like most places.)

nothing is growing, irrigation wouldn't help either ;-)
