Hi John,

Not sure if this helps but I got repair kit for my Zenith carburetor which
is for 61 and 161 series carburetors which was applicable to my Farmall
Super A. The instructions indicate for this carb in order to obtain
correct fuel level check position of float to measure 1-5/32" plus or minus
3/64" from casting to farthest point of float. Bend float arm next to
float to obtain measurement. Do not bend float hinge.

However, I had issues with the old carb when trying to rebuild it (broke
something off inside carb body) and just decided to buy a new one from
Yesterday's Tractor Co. about 5 years ago. The new one has worked great
since that time.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck,
Jim Bynum
