The message you mention was sent in January, I believe.

What I've done one a couple of axes with great success is:
I've cut the end in the middle with a saw (I'm tired as h... and can't find
the words, but I hope you'll understand). Then I make a thin wooden
triangle (words again). The handle is as dry as possible when I put it ön
place with a lot of wooden glue. Then I hammer the triangle thingy in place
and saws of what can't be hammered in. Not the best description but this
method id yet to fail me and I've worn out a few handles. :-(
