Good grief Mike, she had one hand on the steering wheel and (just like 99% of women drivers) she had the phone in her other hand. This made it impossible for her to move the gear shift "thingy!" (Also, if you read carefully you find that " her gearbox failed")

PS, Allowing women the right to drive is right up there with allowing them the right to vote!
