This thread brings to mind the incident that happened last month where a woman raced down a freeway and was unable to turn off the ignition or shift out of gear so she could stop.  Keyless features raise all sorts of "red flags."

The usual cause is a bad remote for the keyless entry OR another 
transmitter causing a problem. I have seen problems with the relays that 
control the locks do this as well.

It is not a normal feature on an 04.
