Ron, that doesn't sound like a GM feature but I do know there are some 
aftermarket security and remote start systems that do that. I have a 
customer with one on their vehicle. Guess how I found out?? You should 
be able to wedge the door open at the upper rear corner and get a stiff 
wire in and hit the electric lock button. Doug T
