It was a late styled A but that shouldn't really matter. No we didn't send
it out for machining. The high-temp silicone worked on a near 1/8" gap. We
were just sure to follow the instructions for the silicone and let it cure
fully before starting. We waited a day or two as we didn't want to do it
again.
