[AT] JD A manifold

Tyler, on my Farmall Super A, I cheated and didn't machine the head or 
manifold.  It wasn't significantly out of true.  Maybe I should have 
machined it and made it perfect, but I cannot detect any intake leaks 
with a propane can.

If your head/manifold has significant gaps that don't pass the propane 
test, then I guess your money would be well spent in machining.

As to the flames in the exhaust, my Super A did that because it was 
running too fast and too rich.  The governor was running wide open, and 
the air filter was clogged.  But that's for a red tractor with four 
cylinders, yours may be different!
