John,

Just so happens there is a wheel weight for a 3300 combine for sale right now on ebay. Ebay auction # 280956010091

It is only for one wheel but maybe the seller has another.  The seller is trying to make it more valuable by advertising it as a tractor wheel weight but JD Tractor wheel weight casting numbers don't start with an H. This wheel weight also fits on a 4400 combine and probably others. There are also quite a few different 3300 manuals available on eBay.

Thanks! I noticed it had a knob for adjusting and a spring on it, I just figured it was some linkage that Deere didn't have anywhere else to put it. 
We are just pulling mine into the shop to hopefully get it ready to cut some grain sorghum.

So what is your opinion of this machine? Supposedly it is the same capacity as my 55, but I am finding that hard to believe. It appears to be built much more light duty. I am going to have to engineer a way to put some weights on the rear end to navigate some of our hills. When I was little we traded a 55 for a 6600. I don't remember much about the 6600 other than it was overworked and we traded it for a 6620 around 1985. The only reason I mention it is because the 3300 and 66600 are from the same "series".

On the floor , under your heel, straight behind the steering column is a peg/pedal that is your brake lock. You need to step on the brakes with your right foot and then set the lock with your left heel. If you have other questions on your 3300 feel free to drop me  line I got one a couple years ago and am getting ready to head to the field.
