John,

On the floor , under your heel, straight behind the steering column is a 
peg/pedal that is your brake lock. You need to step on the brakes with 
your right foot and then set the lock with your left heel. If you have 
other questions on your 3300 feel free to drop me  line I got one a 
couple years ago and am getting ready to head to the field.
