Same here Cecil. Any serious field work I do is in a cab. I put in years
on an open tractor, long dusty days in the field. Sometimes burning up
from the sun, wind burned face, sometimes frozen by the cold wind so I
could hardly move at quitting time.
For a few chores and short jobs I can sit out on an open tractor now
but thats about all. Open combines were just about the worst. All the
wild temperature variations plus smothered in itchy dust. After all that
you can really appreciate the benefits of a comfortable cab.
