[AT] 1935-1940 Dust Bowl

I noticed two things; the Massey-Harris self propelled combines and a farmer
going away from us and to the left was pulling a tandem disc and the
narrator was talking about one-ways.
Massey-Harris was the major mfger of self propelled combines for several
years (late 40's and early 50's). And one-ways were one of the principal
implements that contributed to the dust bowl as they were relatively easy to
pull and they did a good job turning under weeds, etc.
So farmers could one-way at least double the ground they could moldboard
plow, and the tilled ground was relatively smooth and therefore offered
little resistance to the winds.

I noticed the later equipment, too. Massey-Harris self propelled combines
certainly were not available in the early 1930's!

They seemed to mix pictures of various eras while talking about an era.
They were talking about mechanized farming during WWI but the pictures
shown were of 20s era IHC tractors. When talking of the bumper crops
they showed 40s era combines and another time showed 30s era rubber
tired tractors. Sometimes they were correct like the time they were
showing a field of ladder frame Fordsons while talking of late WWI.
