David, Assuming your lift it operating normally, the height you can lift
the implement is
a function of where the lift pins are located on the implement, in this
case your bush hog.
I'm running a bush hog that is really made for a larger tractor than I have
it on and had the same
problem. I fixed it by relocating the lift pins lower on the frame, down
about 3" above the mower deck.
That lets the lift go all the way down and gives you maximum lift.

Subject: [AT] MF 135 Hydraulic Q.

Hello Every buddy,
I 'm wondering how high off the ground, a MF 135 with three point lift,
will / should, lift a brush hog?
B/C I am feeling mine is not lifting it high enough.

If it is determined that I'm correct, then I need your help discovering
why, and how to repair this trouble .
Thanks
